Big Boss has FOX unit patch on one of his shoulders in Peace Walker as well. In fact every soldiers from his "Soldier Without Borders" has one patch from their old unit.

The footage looks amazing, I didn't really like Peace Walker, but by fuck this looks absolutely amazing.

BUT, this is running on a top line PC, they already confirmed it - I'm worried to see how it'll look on a current gen machine, I really am. Consoles are so so far behind now it's crazy.

I'm seeing Kojima at the end of the month at the Eurogamer Expo, and I cannot fucking wait, he's a real legend of mine and I'm going to be humbled being in the same room as hiim.

That, or the logo is there because the sneaking suits MSF use are actually taken from FOX. They are practically just modified versions of FOX's new sneaking suit which Big Boss and the main FOX members wore in Portable Ops.

At PAX 2012, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima showed off 15 minutes of the first gameplay footage from his upcoming PS3 game. Though running on a PC, Kojima stated that the footage was comparable to what would be seen on the PS3 version of the game.

Comparable being the operative word there I would think, I can't see this looking the same at all on the PS3 or 360, I may yet be surprised but top line spec PC's are miles ahead now.

You know I can't say that they won't. MGS4's visuals were so good in 2008, barring a few textures here or there, that even replaying it now it hasn't aged poorly. Some currently released games look worse, and that's against a game released more than 4 years ago. If they've built the engine right, and they know the PS3 at least obviously, I figure that is going to look as close as they can get it. Kojima's a stickler for details too, so I figure they'll be making sure they get it as good as they can across all platforms.

MGS4 still looks fantastic even today. From a technical perspective, it's a masterpiece.
