The first Prime is still my favorite game ever, to me everything in it is just perfect.

You've been watching AVGN recently, haven't you?

Not recently, no, but I do love AVGN. Why? Did I just accidentally quote him or something?

Hes posted a few vids recently using the old Sega ad campaign from the 90's "Sega does what Nintendon't".

Nintendo of Europe restricts buying PEGI 18+ eShop content to four hours of the day

Nintendo of Europe blocks access to 18-rated content on the Wii U eShop at certain times of day, system messages sugges…

The issue first came to light after a NeoGAF user experienced the issue and contacted Nintendo of Italy's customer support.

"Dear customer," a Nintendo representative replied, "we would like to let you know that Nintendo has always aimed to offer gameplay experiences suited to all age groups, observing carefully all the relevant regulations regarding content access that are present in the various European countries.

"We have thus decided to restrict the access to content which is unsuitable to minors (PEGI) to the 11pm - 3am time window."

Eurogamer has just tested this and it appears to be true. We were unable to access Assassin's Creed 3 information or buy ZombiU digitally.

"You cannot view this content," a message reads. "The times during which this content can be viewed have been restricted."
Wow. I'm in the USA and that doesn't affect us, but... wow. This is the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. Nintendo was doing so good with getting with the times online. Then NoE has to come and fuck that up for the European users, who can now only buy eShop 18+ content from 11PM to 3AM. One step forward, 10 steps back. I... my brain hurts now.

As long as Metroid isn't rated above 18, I'm happy.

                    Keep digging that hole, Nintendo.

At this point, it's not even laughable - it's just pathetic.

Who the fuck is in charge of NOE? The Pope? That is ridiculous.

I think this is when users who already have a Wii U and live in EU need to send Tweets/emails to Nintendo of Europe to get that shit undone. I can't imagine something like that going down here in the US. People would go mental on the Regginator and ask for his head or somethin'... how come it was allowed in Europe? I thought they were more liberal over there.

If ppl don't complain loud enough, then nothing will change.

I read is because NoE is based in Germany so they follow German restrictions (of all the countries....). Sony/MS Euro divisions based in UK.

It seems that SEGA is also on stupid mode.

The company has been flagging several old Shining Force videos on Youtube (tributes, Let's Play, reviews, etc.) in order to give greater exposure to an upcoming game in the series (Shining Ark).

Several Youtube accounts have already been closed down due to the copyright violation thing.

Needless to say, fans are very pissed.

Let's play vids should be banned anyway. Cannot upload full movies to the net legally, why should games be different.

DANM IT! it seems sega is trying to officially bury that series once and for all...
that sucks because i loved shining force way back as a kid but to be honest its been dead after Shining force 3, i refuse to call the newer ones sequels. (yeah im one of those fans thats mad sega stopped making tactical sequels for that series)

i hate Sega so much right now, sonic is the only reason sega even survived this long in the industry..

im done with sega.. at this point i don't care if they die and nintendo buys the rights to sonic (as well as its other franchises with potential. you got to admit, it would be funny to see sonic owned my nintendo after all those years of rivalry. who knows, maybe they can even make better sonic games)
