PS4. I like Sony exclusives and Sony seem to be the only ones still doing original creative stuff of the first parties for several years now.

If the news about Lovefilm phasing out game rentals is true I'll probably invest in a gaming PC and wait until stuff is £5 on Steam.

      I already have a Wii U and will be getting a PS4.

All the games I want currently (Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls Online, Battlefield 4) are on PC. I haven't had any slowdown from modern games yet, except Arma 3 alpha on full settings, which is an unoptimised mess and looks worse than BF3 even.

So probably the PS4 v2 when there are a few good games.

PS4...eventually. I already have a WiiU. I might pick up a One, somewhere down the road, but it's not high on my list of priorities for money.

It doesn't help that I made a list and found I have 6 console games I need to beat.

I'll get the PS4 since it has a handful of games I want to play. I notice more and more people these days play on PC, but I don't think I'd ever throw down the money necessary for creating a proper gaming PC. I'd like to get a Wii U in the future as well. But as someone else mentioned I still have a handful of console games I need to beat. It's somewhat depressing; my Xbox is collecting dust as I seldom replay any of its games once I beat them, and my Wii has become nothing more than a Netflix box for our bedroom. My PS3 that I bought used a while back is the only thing that gets any use right now.

It's not as expensive as you might think. If you don't mind building your PC over the course of a couple of months and find the best deals, you can build a PC that exceeds the consoles for nearly the same price. As I've said elsewhere, I built my PC over the course of three months back in 2009 for a little over $400 and it can still power 2013 titles on all max settings.

Anyone got an overview over launch titles for the PS4 and any recommendatioons?

I'm still struggling finding something I actually want for it -- especially since I'll probably have most of the multi-platform launch stuff on last gen or the One before launch.

Cannot know many launch titles when it doesn't have a release date.

It comes out in early December (although I've heard some sources suggest Friday the 13th) and they've already mentioned that out of whatever their list of launch titles included, that Infamous was pushed back from "launch" to early 2014.

It looks like some people wants DRM back http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/...x-one-policies

BTW Release date is in November. SCE has birthday or something ;)

PS4, but only when Gaikai streaming is introduced. Waiting a year or two after a new console's release has always paid off for me in the past; I don't imagine that it will be much different this time around.

Some naive people believe that DRM would have meant cheaper games at launch.

                              Haha... As if!

Same price as PS4 games with or without DRM according to all vendors.

Some people think that MS is a benevolent company with the consumer's best interests at heart.

                                Hahahaha

Seriously though they are all just as bad, but I will side with PS for now as they have at least shown some restraint in being corporate assholes
