  • Error with xbox Achievements

Im having an issue with my one games achievements. For the video game Resident Evil ORC I have 68/70 achievements unlocked. When I go into the achievements for the game they show that I unlocked them. But the screen with all the game achievements only shows that I unlocked 62/70. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Did you unlock some while offline or on an Xbox wile the profile had been recovered to a different one? If the former try going online and syncing them. If you unlocked them while your profile was recovered on another xbox then you're screwed because when you recovered it back to this one they'll be like you never unlocked them.

Recover your gamer profile. It'll bring your achievement status to its true/correct state. Then you'll have to re-unlock the 6 broken achievements (depending on how the game checks your achievement status, you might have to do so with a fresh/clean save.)

These types of issues generally just happen if you unlock an achievement in a game before the achievement is registered on LIVE and has nothing to do with whether you've been multi-boxing or use your profile on multiple consoles (Although it has a habit of temporarily displaying the wrong gamerscore total if you use your profile on multiple systems).

In general, Capcom has been somewhat notorious for not having the achievements up for their DLC before it goes on sale (Like how it literally somehow took them a whole year to get the achievements for Dark Void's DLC fixed, or how Desperate Escape's achievements were borked on launch day)

How do you recover the profile?

Log out with your profile. On the part of the dashboard where you can choose to log inn again, you can also choose to recover a Gamer Profile. Then you need to provide the e-mail and password for your profile. Then, depending on how many games you've played, it might take a tiny forever to redownload your profile.

As a general tip, check your profiles filesize on your storage device to give you an idea of how long it'll take. Mine is around 182mb, some can be mere kb it depends on what games you've played because some save data to your profile some save to their own folder for that game. Generally arcade games are more guilty of filling your profile, but the Halo series and some others do add to it.
