    I think it was just a web page with some crap on it. I can't remember clearly, I had Biohazard 3 though so maybe it was different for RE3. I read on Wikipedia there was a mercenary online game ranking thing, but it sounds like they were saying it's only for the PC version. But maybe it was the DC version too, I don't remember though.

      Weren't the webpages actually located on the GD-ROM though? I recall someone digging up some .htm files on the disc.

          Yes, there are html and gif files on the discs, so what the heck? lol.

          Actually I just checked a rip I have, it links to http://dc-bio3.dricas.ne.jp/dc-bio3/index.html So maybe it did link to real places, theres only a few files on the disc itself. Probably to avoid load times.

            It has some links to the mercenary ranking thing. You can still see the times.

              It's all about convenience.

              When i wake up in the morning and want to check the sports news, it's far more convenient to fall back on the couch and browse than boot up the PC, enter my PC, let everything load, and fire up my web browser.

                  The Wii browser is sweet.

                  Though, if you go on a "past post hunt", you can probably find posts made by me through;

                  -Public WiFi access spot accessed with PDA.
                  -Cellphone
                  -DS Browser (That thing, even though a bit slow at times, is pretty sweet for couch browsing during movies and such)
                  -Wii Browser (Love it, absolutely love it. Couch potato internet access right there. And also the first time I've felt that the internet has been all sci-fi-movie-ish to me)

                      I must say that posting on a SD 27" and posting on a HD 50" are so radically different. I think since the resolutions change, the font is easier to read on the SD TV, but on the Wii, using it to surf for porn is hillarious!

                          You mean the Wii doesn't have filters on it? :p

                          What type of functionality does the Wii have for streaming/movie playback?

                            I haven't tried specific formats, but I think it plays flash based movies ok. Not sure if I was able to access youtube or not, but I remember my girlfriend accessing Homestar Runner's website just fine.

                              The Opera browser for Wii is not all that bad. If you have an extra USB keyboard lying around you can hook it up to type up your messages quickly.

                                I've been using my wii-mote like a sucker? Bah!

                                To be honest, my last USB keyboard died on my after spilling soda. I used it to chat while playing Outbreak. After that got ruined, it got hard to communicate with people before the game and that sort of led to the decline of me wanting to play.
