I missed the boat on this series and never picked up a copy, well thats not true a friend of my mothers gave me 30 games after her husband passed for the PC and Alone in the Dark was one of them but I never played it so dad just passed it on to someone else, whats the kicker as all the PC monkey island games were boxed in there too

I thought the tv series was based on the game but was toned down & re-named for kids my bad. Anyway I have played AITD4 I've still got the save on memory card where I gave up in Lucy's Bedroom lol

Nah it wasn't but I see why you would think so it has a similar title I have yet to finish The new nightmare for the Dreamcast I got pretty far but ended up giving up I think lol.

Its on PSX,Dreamcast,PC,PS2 and Gameboy Color.

I never got into this series but I do plan on buying the one that is comming on xbox 360.

TNM is only on PC, PSX, and DC. The PS2 version was canceled. I have the DC and PSX versions. The DC version is way better.....

No, it's deffintely on PS2. I can assure you of this. I'm holding my copy for the PS2 right now.

Edit: A quick check reveals it was, apparently, only released in Europe. I'm taking IGN's word for it, and it would explain why FeurMensch believes it was cancelled.

It seems to more or less be the same as the Dreamcast version from what I can see.

It took me ages to find this demo scene ps1 intro that was on my bootleg copy of AITD-TNN, for anyone who like 80-mid 90's sid tunes ;-) run PSX.EXE with epsxe.
