I wasn't particually impressed with the previous games but they were interesting.
The move to Wii considering the style of the game is a very good choice and the screencaps looked promising if they weren't renders.

The 3rd game wasn't exactly a blast. (Or well, if you use that term to describe it it's not as something positive)

1-2 also had Xbox releases with additional content. The US versions both work on the 360, but the PAL version of the first one doesn't work at the moment.

I actually really like this series, as you're dealing with enemies that "break the rules", more or less.
Bringing the 4th to the Wii is probably a very clever move. I guess we could expect it to become somewhat of the Wii's "Eternal Darkness" or "Resident Evil - Remake".

Tecmo's collaborating with Nintendo on this one, and it's being developed by Grasshopper. Given that Suda is "close" with Mikami might make the series actually fun to play. The series' atmosphere was great, but the gameplay just didn't do it for me.

I wonder what happened to the original Tecmo team though. The creator expressed interest in continuing the series on the 360 and PS3 about 6 months before the Wii game was announced.

I'm a bit more surprised by the recent revelation of the Nintendo connection.

This is bloody one of the best horror games made, hands down. I've completed all 3 games and i have to say the 2nd had a gr8 storyline but the 3rd tops it for me because i love how you control 3 ppl who have diffrent storys to reach and it teaches you a thing in life that you should think about, which is to let go of the ppl you love who die :O
Well i wont go into detail just for the non gamers of this game yet or for the ppl who haven't played the game to the full.
So the xbox editions have extra content, can anyone let me know what that is because i have the ps2 editions and would get the xbox ones if they really are worth it.
On a final note i love the 3rd one with the blue lady and when you have to hide and when you get more into the game shes more scary cos you feel more powerless. Oh and the morns she does, HOW SCARY IS THAT

              I have:
              Project Zero 1 - PS2
Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly: Director's Cut - Xbox
              Project Zero 3: The Tormented - PS2

I know at the beginning of 2 there is a FPS mode, and theres LOADS more costumes, LOADS, you can also play as Kasumi & Ayame from Dead or Alive. =)
I love Kasumi & Ayame, she's so cool, and I theres a survival mode when you finish, no idea if this is in the PS2 version.

the ps2 version does not contain most of the xbox only content I think there was a survival mode to try and get so many points in a certain amount of time or something like that >.< been a while since i've played it

Most of the differences between the X-Box version and PS2 one are things like different static ghosts, some new hidden static ghosts, extra costumes and both have an additional ending. Since both those endings are crap, though, and niether is cannon from what we know from the third game they aren't worth much. The first game also has some extra diaries clarifying Kirie's motives a little, supposedly.

I've heard the Xbox version of Project Zero has limited extra's, but I KNOW the Xbox version of Project Zero II have so many extra's, including new modes, new endings, new costumes, and the terrifying FPS mode...

not ending's, there's just one extra ending that you can watch on youtube.

point being if you only have the ps2 version, your really not missing out on that much.

But then you might not know who Miku is...Though it is playable without playing the first two, I highly suggest you do to get the edge of what happened to Mio & Mayu aswell as Miku.
