Anybody psyched out of their mind for GTAIV?

I've heard the only reason why people think the ps3 version is better is because it supports wide screen where as the xbox360 version has the shitty black bar problem is that true?

First i've heard of this, my 360 GTA4 runs fine and I assume its running in 720p and Widescreen as all my games do.

what games did you use to play?
I haven't seen the 360 version yet, but for ps3 owners the game is fine but the problem i have, which i had with V.C and S.A (not GTA3) is that during movies, it seems to jump/freeze. Also the servers were a pain in the first day, but this must be due to everyone wanting to go online with it right away, so that problem will hopefully die down, as with call of duty 4.

I just got my copy of GTAIV. I found a PAL copy here in Taiwan, the guy in the shop gave it to me as soon as I entered as he saw I was a foreigner. Soundtrack sounds pretty good already and I'm just on the installation screen.

I haven't renewed my subscription in months and I don't think I'll be getting the game. In a month though, I might have to if the online features of NGII require it.

Holy christ, that was so awesome. I'm going to cut together a video of the highlights from today and yesterday. We've invented a new game where there are two "teams", Attackers and Defenders. This works by having two people play the defenders. They both take helicopters from the heliports right by the Brooklyn Bridge and land on top of it. Since getting inside a chopper = RPG rounds, they can act as your re-supply.

It is then the job of the attackers to knock you off using their own choppers, while the defenders try to blow them out of the sky. Its hilarious, as this video will show ;) If an attacker kills one of the defenders, then he lands and takes his place. If both defenders die, then the first two people to land on top of the bridge become the defenders.

So basically you can do anything online? What's the maximum number of players? I've just been doing single player. Though I'm thinking PS3 multiplayer isn't quite up to scratch compared to the 360 version?
