Does anyone know if and when a demo for this game is coming out on either the Xbox 360 or the PS3? I'd rent it, but I'm currently broke!

For 360, within the "coming weeks."

Not a good sign. I'll wait for the demo. Is this coming out on PC too?

The full game will, but as far as I'm aware, there isn't going to be a PC demo.

I'm willing to bet that they'll hold it back for sometime until the fuss has died down, they won't want to pile even more misery on themselves right now!

Wow 3.5, that is something i didn't expect, i know its not up there with games like r.e, silent hill, project zero etc, but i at least thought this game would get 6 or 7 out of 10.
To be honest the demo/trailer of this game never seemed strong enough to stand out, i haven't played the full game yet, so i wont go ahead and say that it's bad etc, but in my views, the only good thing about this game, is the collectors boxset that came with some of the copies, but i'll pick up a copy when it's second hand for £20 somewhere.

Errr...Yeah. If you haven't played it, you're in no position to say what the only good thing about the game is. Particularly when you're going to claim it's strengths are a shoddily produced figure, a book, a CD, and a DVD in a cardboard sleeve.

It's far better than the 3.5 IGN have given it. Funny how 99% of the time people will preach about how IGN are full of shit...but when a score that people can use comes up they're the gospel all of a sudden!

Got it in from UPS today along with other games I ordered. I'm looking forward to playing it despite the reviews it's gotten.

I'm not the only one like this then! See, survival-horror games have always gotten bad to mediocre reviews and that never changed my love for them! I just need to get my hands on this game to try it out myself. Too bad about the demo business though.

                        Averaging 59% now:

Metacritic aggregates music, game, tv, and movie reviews from the leading critics. Only Metacritic.com uses METASCORES, which let you know at a glance how each item was reviewed.

I'll give it a rent and see if it's as bad as it sounds.

After all those marvellous trailers that just scream "Hollywood blockbuster" I can't believe the game is just a so so :|. I had really high hopes for it.

I just got stuck back into the game. More tales of 5% fun, 95% frustration!

I'm enjoying this game, its not as good as i thought it would be but it is pretty awesome. The opening level was cool, climbing your way through the building.
I did however absolutely hate the first driving level through the streets. It was annoying when you would sometimes hit something ever so slightly and the car would do a full turn and you'd die, plus after you drive through the mall and out of the window my car became lodged on the window ledge and it just stayed there, didnt move, nothing killed me, had to start again.
The battle controls take some getting used to though but the fight scenes are good. Not so sure about the bosses yet.

But i have a question if anyone can help. I'm currently in the museum and don't know how to destroy the boss, that thing with four legs. I've shot the two shoulders and his chest but i cant find anymore weak points and i dont have anything to create fire to kill him, how do i do it?

Had me caught out at first...but there's some bottles at the far right section of the room. Fire one of those bad boys at him, and go hide behind a pillar. I don't know if they appeared in order or whether they were to begin, but some more bottles appeared at the far left of the room. Hit the other corners for more bottles.

Might take a few attempts, it's a pain, but you'll get there.
