      Might pick it up.
Curious, if I register up for US PSN *if thats possible*, Will I be able to play MGS4 online on the US server?

I have UK, JP and US accounts.
As far as I'm concerned, it won't work, as your account is registered with a region server of the game.
And you have one character per PS3.

I am aware, but would someone spare £4 just for a experiment that maynot work?

You have one character per region, it appears. I have registered two characters on the same PSN account (on the same PS3) using two different discs.

I can't get into MGS4. The controls are awkward and I don't like how the character moves. Also the push button events whenever you do something like get close to a wall etc, it's not fluid free gameplay. I like MGS1's backing up against a wall and knocking on it with your hand. Much better!

Story is all over the place and hasn't been the same since MGS2 messed it up. Also those intro sequences are not creative, do not set the scene well and are a waste of time.

                    That is all.

                    • Have to agree with the controls being rigid, I really can't get to grips with the new control system, and fail to see how this is conducive to Stealth gameplay, I kept getting caught and in the end just sped through the game firing.

                      • Yeah exactly, it takes way too much effort to be stealthy. I can't give that much effort for a game the majority of the time so **** it, kill them all..

..in beginners mode only of course.

And I'm not sure what the locations are like at the end of the game but the beginning desert map design puts me to sleep.
