Yeah that would be great, what is Max Paine without lots of bullet time?

I never got that Matrix mod for the Max Payne version of the PC... Might be something cool to look into

I think she's a bit too young for the role myself, and Walberg will always be Marky Mark to me, so that always detracts from his performances in movies.

Just out of curiosity, who do you guys feel could play Payne better than Wahlberg? I'm curious because my buddies say the same thing but can never back it up with a good argument. What I think troubles me the most about the game is that Payne has aged a lot from Payne 1 to 2. I remember the jokes that flew around that Max would be in a wheel chair by the third installment of the game but of course that doesn't seem like that will ever happen.

Granted Wahlberg was Marky-Mark but he was no Vanilla Ice. If you haven’t seen anything recent then check out some of his recent films. Shooter and Four Brother are good films. I think his performance in both films was great. I haven’t seen the horror flick he recently did but it did look interesting. I think he can pull this off. If he has one thing going for him it is that he definitely looks the role of the original young Max Payne.

Wanted to add that I think Mila Kunis was a good choice as well. Again they both fit that younger look that the first game displayed and not there older counter parts in Payne 2.

If anything, it'll be a good action movie. I think that's all that matters.

Yea but hopefully there is a got story to it. It looks like they will be using the story from the first game, where his family gets killed and he basically goes on a rampage.

That is pretty much the story, only it's not exactly the same as the game.

From what i've seen so far it looks that the movie will be just like Hitman, only the main idea and the names of the characters will be saved, all the rest will be different. I don't realy like it.

Hitman was a good movie. Timothy Olyphant was a great choice, and he played the part to perfection, and actually gave 47 a bit of personality.

(P.S: I have a teacher who looks like Timothy's indentical twin... Creepy.)

I didn't like Hitman for 3 reasons, 1) the didnt felt like the game at all, it was like RE movie to RE games, 2) the 47 was terible, he didn't felt like he is The 47 at all, 2) russians were shown like a total jerks, they are actually not always drunken dudes riding a bear, and some times there are summers actualy. So what i was trying to say is that Hitman was a great movie for those who havent played the game (or played the game but are Timothy Olyphant fans ). And IMO I wouldn't want for Max Payne movie to be like a Hitman movie at all

My dad is a very harsh movie critic. There's only a few releases a year which he says 'yeah, that was a good movie!'

I was pleased to hear that Hitman was one of those rare movies I enjoyed it thoroughly too, even though I'm a huge fan of Hitman 1, 2, and 3 games.

Even though Hitman didn't stick to the story, i still think it was a good movie. It was a problem for Resident Evil because the first game focused a lot on the manison and the characters and to not have either of them in the movie made the movie horrible. I don't even want to get started on the other two movies.

If you've read the novel of RE1, i think they should have made that into a movie. I loved it, i was very cautious of it for a long time and kept thinking that there would be no way they could keep the 2 storylines running together without messing it up, but it managed quite well.
