Hitman was a good movie. Timothy Olyphant was a great choice, and he played the part to perfection, and actually gave 47 a bit of personality.
Yeah, but that's not the characters, that's why it doesn't work. I still liked it as a film but I felt it wasn't too faithful. I really enjoyed the fact it was almost entirely set in Europe and had that European feel. Was a very nice refresher from the typical American settings I'm bombarded with in the film industry.

AS for the Max Payne movie, GameTrailers will be having an interview with Wahllberg and Kunis soon on GT-TV, so that may be one to look out for.

I found myself a bit more pleased with 47's new personality in the movie than his robot nature in the games.

I say the man who played The Punisher, Thomas Jane. I thought he did a damn good Punisher and an aswome job in The Mist. Also he played the voice acting in the video game GUN. Which he also did a good job in.
On the other hand: When I first started playing the Max Payne games I right away saw a character connection between Max Payne and The Punisher. I guess I was the only one who saw that until The Punisher game came out.

Oh and I think Dimi Moore would be a great Mona Sax.

I hope that the movie will keep the film - noir style of the games

Jesus, have you seen the casting decisions for this film? Terrible. Why in the name of all that's sacred and blessed on this blue marble of ours, is Ludacris cast as Jim Bravura? I can think of dozens of better choices, but for the sake of brevity I'll just name one - Mr. Bob Hoskins.

Indeed Bob Hoskins looks like Bravura, but i have a better choice.........(pause for dramatic effect)....... Gene Hackman!!!

You need someone in their 50s. Gene Hackman is like, 70s.

Bob Hobkins all the way. Anyone ever seen Enemy at the Gates? He was bad ass in that movie.

But Ludacris?? That is major F**k up. I mean that is a f**king Ludacris idea. I can also think of a dozen reasons why he shouldn't be used for the role.

Oh and they should put Joe Peshi (however his name is spelled) in the role as Vennie Gognitti. That would work out perfect.

For some unknown reason, Gognitti reminded me of Chris Tarrant.

Yeah, but certain people can do that (Mark Wahlberg for example, or Chris Lilley).

Ludicrous? Ugh. FFS, why can't they just stick to the characters as they were portrayed in the game? It seems like every game>movie adaptation requires at least one rapper to appeal to the MTV crowd.

Agreed. I guess they are trying to attract people that have never played the game and feel that changing a character or two won't hurt. I think it is horrible and hope it doesn't ruin the movie.
