I forgot to mention the game comes with a small origami insert that you can put together while the game is installing on the hardrive. Mine looks. . .like it was made by the special ed origami killer. I got the basic shape right, but the instructions absolutely lost me. Though I've never been good at that kind of stuff. I always hated making little paper ornaments in school. Grrrr. There's my reason to hate the origami killer right there.

But anyways, I digress.

I was able to get it all done.....but I got the paper inside-out, with the words inside the origami

Blah, the game just froze on me. Granted, this is after my PS3 has been on all day, but still, its lame. I've only just started actually playing the game a couple hours ago.

I would just like to say, my only real complaint so far are that the loading times are SHIT in this game. Each segement takes like 5 minutes to friggin load. It's ridiculous. What the hell is the 4GB install for if it still takes that long to load? But what really sucks about it is the how it sucks you out the story, instead of being able to stay constantly on the edge of your seat, immersed.

Well, I'm in for a LONG night. Won't be putting this down till I finish it.

I doubt it. He'll probably do what me and him did on our first RE5 run. Took off work than sat in his room for a day and played it all day.

I guess that depends on how dedicated you are lol, I heard it was fairly long. I'll be picking it up tommorow. Darkmoon, did you get the collector's edition not available in the U.S.? I'm pissed, I really wanted the soundtrack and 3-D rain effect case

I'm honestly pretty surprised to see 7 different people on my PSN friends list playing this game right now. I didn't think this many people would be interested in a game that's so completely different from everything else out there. It'll be interesting to see how it sells.

As for me, I'd really really love to get the game right now but I can't take the hit financially. God of War III is more important at this point, and Heavy Rain I can get at any point over the summer or fall when/if it drops in price, and I actually have a job to support my hobby. Right now, I'm at school and I'm not working, so cashflow is a bit of an issue.

Long load times....wut? What type of PS3 do you have? I had to clear space on my 40GB, but it loads in a minute or so. Longest load time I seemed to have was at the very start.

The game is absolutely beautiful. I didn't want to watch too many trailers or videos before I got the game...nor did I even want to play the demo. So glad I held off. Graphically...has to be one of the best games I've ever seen. The voice acting is pretty good too. Definitely want to take my time and absorb this game.

Well, a few reasons I stopped playing:

-I have class early tomorrow
-I don't think I'd be able to do it in one sitting
-My older brother's a jerkoff. He was there the entire time I was playing and he made comments about how much he thought it sucked. Kinda ruined some of the plot comprehension but nonetheless the game was fun.

I'm up to the first portion with Maddy Paige, just after Shelby's run-in with the gunman. I wasn't able to talk him down but I got the gun out of his hand. My heart was racing throughout the entire thing, I kept telling myself "Don't let him do it, don't let him do it, don't let him do it...nonononono..." The relief I felt when it was over was significant.

Not for nothing, but this game delivers in ways quite accurate compared to the reviews. While the gameplay from a distance (as evidenced by my brother) seems tedious, simple, or deliberate (and to be fair it does get deliberate), playing it zones in the immersion. Plus information is obviously vital as fuck in this game. That scene with Ethan in the precinct...phew!
