Mario Sunshine or Luigi's Mansion?

I'm planning on getting one of these games. Nowadays it's a hard task. But I was wondering which one it is better for you. TIA

I prefered SMS over LM. But that's just me. I was never fond of Luigi...

Super Mario Sunshine is more up your alley if you're seeking more Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy-ish gameplay.

Luigi's Mansion is rather different. Pretty sweet launch title, though. Not sure what to compare it to... Maybe something like a mixture of Zelda, a fishing game and one of those top down action games from the SNES era (True Lies, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, The Firemen).

I think Mario Sunshine was better.
Both were fun, but I found Mario Sunshine more challenging. Luigi's was quite easy all the way through.
