Im suprised they're deleting levels based on Sony 1st party IP's like God of War, then again, what else were Sony expecting when they financed Little Big Planet, they opened up a can of worms with this game, as frankly they should have known that most gamers would recreate levels from games, from what i've seen most are pretty mediocre, although the Final Fantasy X "At Zanarkand" tune level someone made in the beta caught my eye as impressive, same for other levels which recreate tunes.

Its just a shame Sony are too quick to stunt this kind of thing, eventually word will get around and people will eventually abandon LBP, and with good reason.

The Metal Gear level looks pretty fun. I've been looking forward to some new levels for LBP. And its pretty cheap too considering all that you're getting.

                        Superficially maybe.
I'll say that it's a beautiful platforming game, with some amazing level design. Parts are jaw droppingly awesome (as in they inspire awe).

But for me, the best part of the game by far, is the level creation.
I haven't even tried to copy designs from any existing IPs. I love thinking of things in my head, and then trying to realise them in the game. This is the first game in AGES that has kept me awake in bed, trying to figure something out.
And the game doesn't present the challenges in this sense, it's my imagination.

The last level I was working on (before I had to send my Playstation home to Australia) was a concert. There was a guitarist, and you have to plug his amplifier into the wall, and then plug his guitar cable into the amplifier, and then he plays. Using springs and a motor I got it too look like his right hand was strumming. And I'd devised a way to make his left hand move up and down the fretboard, and have his fingers move, but I haven't implemented it yet. I was having too much fun putting beer bottles and ashtrays around the set, to make it look more authentic.

Even if I never release these levels online, I love the challenge of realising my imagination, which not many games offer. I actually think LittleBigPlanet is underrated.

MG LBP is actually kinda fun...and using the paint gun is great.

I couldn't care less about MGS (I think they're over-rated tripe), but the inclusion of the paint gun means I'll probably get this DLC pack. I hope that Media Molecule continue to implement things like this, wether it is branded or not.
