Which 'current-gen' consoles do you currently own?
360 owner in a country were it almost doesn't exist, I had to bring it from US, here they onlly sell it at gamestop, and it's like... $990, and games are like: old ones: $60, new ones: $150 (it doesn't matter wich game it is, all of them have that price when they arrive, until a year later, when they deside to bring the price of the game down). My situation is pretty pathetic, but I love my xbox360 and can't waite to play RE5 on it. But before, I'll be getting Gears 2, Homecoming, Dead Space and.... Assassins creed (for my little brother) for december, that way I wount get so anccious all summer waiting for RE5; and I'm thinking of getting Silent Hill 2 for xbox, I have it for PS2, but I would like to play the extra chaptter that one brings, in wich you play as Maria. NO, not from Uruguay, no way I can aford does prices.
i have all three but i have o get my wii fixed and the 360 replaced...anyone know how long thoe hard drives last because if they don't last long im gonna get the pro btu if ther built ot last im getting the arcade.
I hope Fatal Frame IV, Tales of Symphonia 2 and Tales of Vesperia get their EU releases soon, i wants them!!
You are speaking part of my language!
Although I'll be importig Dawn of the New World when it hits the US (though, for the sake of expanding my collection, I'll be buying PAL release later anyway), unless it gets an EU release date shortly after the US release.
I'm part of the Wii60 crew too. Been trying to make up excuses for buying a PS3 for a long time, but I just can't find something that justifies fitting it into my budget at the moment.

The PS2 Platinum release subtitled "Director's Cut" in Europe also has the PC/Xbox content added.
I have all three, but mainly play my Xbox 360 and PS3 in intervals; the Wii is just boring and doesn't have many good games in my standard.
Hence my opinion, and please don't flame me.
It's sad when all you really use your Wii for is making Mii's... Wii games for me don't have much replay value aside from WiiSports and WiiPlay. Hence my 360 is almost always on aside from when I'm at work or sleeping (3-4 hours)...
I own both a 360 and a Wii. I got my 360 about 4 years ago I'd say (its still running too, surprising, no RROD for me! ) and my Wii I got last christmas. I play my 360 much more than my Wii, the only thing I really use my wii for now is to play Smash Bros Brawl if I have 3 or more people over as a party game or I'll play UC if I'm bored.
I wanted to get a Wii for Umbrella Chronicles and Smash Bros. Brawl...but then I watched a playthrough of UC on YouTube and played Brawl and found out that I played terribly with Solid Snake, so now I really do not have the desire to get a Wii whatsoever. Picking up a 360, however...could be possible.
PS3 and 360. I'm selling my games, and getting rid of the 360 as well as the PS3 (as soon as a better BD player hits the market *loads faster that is with profile 2.0*).
Whenever I want to have fun with a game, I'm resorting to PS1, GC and some PS2 games so I'm essentially done with gaming for the most part.
And oh my himher_elle the prices there are heavy shit
But good that you get the stuff from somewhere else!
yeah, prices are too high, I've tried everything, I spent like an hour talking to them and saying that prices are too high, that they wount sell anything like that, but they didn't matter, though... i knew they wouldn't, they're just employs and can't change anythingiIthought an e-mail or two would, but since the uruguayan gamestop page is literally dead, I'm sure they didn't even notice it.
The Xbox version has less aliasing, but the PS2 has better colour saturation and a more consistent frame rate (in the fog). Indoors, the light sourcing on the Xbox looks better in motion since it's per pixel; I should note that the 2nd PS2 version does actually look better than the original 2001 release. The bigger difference is the sound, and the Xbox version's music was strangely muted in comparison to the PS2 one.
All issues are nonexistent with SH4, and the Xbox version fairs better overall.
