Name Changes

My dog, Franklin, had his right eye torn out by another of my dogs (boxer-pit)...

I've since called him Frank XIII (in reference to Red XIII/FF7), and he responds to it.

Animals are a whole other story. I had a fish which was named Barry

But yeah, its kinda creepy if someone changes their name to a video game character legally. Though, like xfactor, I never encountered anyone who changed their name to a video game character. You guys have opened my eyes

I think changing your name to the name of a video game character is alright if it's just the first name and it's fairly normal like your example of Claire, that's fine, if she actually changed her name to Claire Redfield though then it's a bit dumb. But whatever, if they're happy with the name then that's fine. You can always change it again if you get bored of it Now video game tattoo's, that's a different story (and permanent)

my barry starved to death, i fed him too, then all of a sudden he doesn't want to eat. brad's eating his food, so i put it directly on top of barry and he declined. i guess barry was depressed

I dunno what's worse....legally changing your name, or naming your kid after a video game/anime character. At least YOU have the choice....a kid would have to live with it for years until they could change it.
