Man I was so glad when I heard that it was coming to the PSP and not just mobiles. I never got to play the first game but I absolutely loved the second game. The Dryfield area just makes me think of them film Tremmors, haha.
I liked the combat in PE2 although it's a little sluggish compared to other games of a similar genre i.e. Resi games, but it wasn't so bad I couldn't play the game till the end... then get stuck on the last boss
Just streaming the trailer now but my net is currently being shocking :/

I'm REALLY hoping they give it a PS2 port as they did with other PSP games (since I don't own a PSP).
But a simple alternative would be to sell the game on PSN as a download for PSP AND PS3!!!
And yes, while the're at it they could resell the first 2 games on there as well. ($$$)

anyway i think they should be releasing the official traielr soon. do we even have a release date?
Square Enix are pretty pretentious like that, beats me why they refuse to release official trailers, withholding games news and trailers doesn't really increase hype for a game anyway, but really just goes so far as to show how pro japanese they are by holding these closed mega theatres in Japan only.

Somewhere in the mountain of crap ideas as the World Ends With you was such a dire game :p, it screamed Tetsuya Nomura in design, *who I think is also part of the reason for the serious decline in designing values in Square Enix and final fantasy these days*.
