Well, bear in mind that Fallout 2 came out a couple of years before Deus Ex and that's where the Enclave come from...although I gotta admit it, they do end up going more towards the Deus Ex approach, what with the President and all.

You really should play the first and second games as well if you like this one. The humour is a lot thicker and they could get away with a lot of stuff that with the current censorship just aren't gonna happen (annoyed by that small child? Vaporise them). Plus, Michael Dorn is a voice actor in the second. Between him and Ron Perlman everything is better.

Going through Gta4 again its a real shame about the story, Would have rather seen the return of Tommy Vercetti, cant complain about the graphics and gameplay though they really are something else.

i just finished Fatal Frame today, loved the ending,

i thought it was a pretty good game overall, not as good as classic RE but way scarier though, it did get a little boring around the middle but picked up a lot at the end, it was pretty great.

and now ive started Dead Space, i just finished the first mission, it's pretty cool so far.

Just got into Icewind Dale (had owned that for YEARS, but never actually played it), and God, am I a happy man again. I should get into The Witcher after I finish it. I also plan to get Baldur's Gate and Mirror's Edge by the end of the month.

Oh, and the Resistence Retribuition Demo was the best thing to ever ***** my PSP. It seems it's finally worth it to own one.

Bought Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction on Saturday. Gawd, it's so good! I don't know how Insomniac does it, but each game has had the same basic formula... and yet it just doesn't get old. The games basically revolve around replayability which is nice (saving up to buy ultimate weapons, upgrades, finding gold bolts, skill points, etc). Honestly, even whoever did Size Matters (High Impact or something) captured the formula perfectly, making it just as good as its PS2 brethren.

You should pick up the PSN-only pseudo sequel Quest for Booty. It may be short (4 hours or so), but at $14.99, it's worth it. I'd say it's a bit more balanced and Ratchet is alone. It looks better too.

I'm just replaying through RE2 after replaying RE3 when it hit the PSN. Doing my old speed runs, trying to recall what steps I've cut to finish them ASAP. Nice substitute for weekend trips thanks to the lovely weather here.

Still playin' SOCOM and NHL 09, my 360 is at home while I'm up here in Fuckfalo. SOCOM and NHL are holding me off until the dreaded two weeks at the end of February/beginning of March when I need to decide between RE5, Killzone 2 and MLB 09 The Show.

Dead Space, though one guy in the 5th mission is pissing me off, is a pretty good game. It's helping me wait for RE5.
