Sony are hardly likely to just turn their backs on a gigantic library of games now are they? They've spent so many years pushing it, they wouldn't just stop caring about it because their new hardware is on the street, they know there'll still be people buying it!

Heck, I still buy PS2 games. PS2 has an amazing library, and I probably haven't played HALF the good games for it. Of course, my PS3 is backward compatible, but still, those are PS2 games I'm playing. The same PS2 games that other people want to play, too.

Hmm, I didn't know the PS2 was still so successful. That's really cool.

I currently work at a video game store, and yeah, we still get a lot of people buying PS2 games.
Myself included. I've recently made the decision to get into the Ratchet and Clank series, which is comprised of 8 games so far, 4 of which are on PS2.
