The demo was awesome. The gameplay is fun and very different...I only wonder if the length merits the MSRP.

The graphics were lovely...and the game was very fun. It's all about timing and attention to detail. I can't wait to get it. I didn't preorder it though. I may wait a few weeks til after it comes out...Resistance 2 is coming out and I also just bought Little Big Planet...need to save a bit for my bills.

I saw a commercial for this game. It looked as if you could explore an entire city...I am not up-to-date on games, so I miss out on a lot. I guess I'll have to do some research into "Mirror's Edge."

I just recently tried the demo, thought it was OK. Not great, but not bad, the combat sucks IMO but the game isn't obviously based on that so that makes up for it. Personally, I won't buy it at full price, especially from what I heard from a friend saying it was very short? Can anyone confirm this? For $20 however, I may pick it up.

Review copies are only beginning to be sent this week apparently, so no one has an idea on the length yet.

I want to like this game more than I do. I like it enough, but not as much as I thought I would after playing the demo. It worries me because either I just cant find anything I like (good thought) or I'm really giving up on caring about gaming (scary thought).

This was on my list of anticipated games to get but after playing the demo...
It looks awesome and it's quite unique but I don't think it's really 'my kind of game'. I can imagine a lot of trial and error, memorizing sequences of leap/turn/leap/grab/jump etc. and dieing... a LOT.
Also I'm not a huge fan of the 1st person view. I like some of the FPS (the good ones) but here I find it a bit annoying. But it's probably what many people find so appealing about the game. I found myself thinking, "this would be cool in 3rd person view"... We never get to see this hot Asian babe, we're supposed to be.

I love the city and the look of the game. It REALLY reminds me of the film 'Ultraviolet'. I know it's another crappy Milla Jovovich film but it's pretty spectacular. I got it on blue-ray (cheap) and IMO it's one of the best films to show off just how damn good, your fancy HDTV can look in 1080p.

I wont be getting Mirror's Edge in a hurry (if at all). I'm almost relieved in a way, because there's so many other games I want to buy right now...

Played the demo today, wow, the style is so unique and original.
Im not getting it on launch considering I'll have no money.
But I will get it eventually, after Christmas.
