Actually, it'd be really cool to see MG1 and 2 re-imagined for PSP. The lower production time and budget would mean the two games would be made faster. And maybe could even come in a single package.
As long as a PSP version wouldn't look like the FF1-2 PSP ports, but maybe run on the Ac!d or Portable Ops engine, it might be interesting.

What'd be more interesting would be if they actually managed to tie them up to the Solid series. 'cause the way it is now... They're not very consistent with each other.

Also, I think they should try to maintain the over-the-top view. Implementing some of the more recent mechanics wouldn't hurt, but some/most of them were already there, sans the 3D camera and first person aim modes.

Terranigma for DS (With an american release too. I hate to play german versions of games)
Resident Evil 2 for DS or Wii (That would be REALLY great. Best RE there is)
Chrono Trigger in 3D for Wii or any other console.
    Terranigma! Yes, please! And well, you wouldn't need an "American version" as the SNES version was released in the UK, Australia and in almost every European country that wasn't Spain, France, Germany or Italy(?). The English translation was pretty solid, had a few odd mistakes and was consistent with previous Quintet "trademarks". (W H A T I H A T E T H E M O S T A B O U T T E R R A N I G M A I S H O W E V E R Y O N E T A L K S L I K E T H I S ! ! !)
I wouldn't mind seeing Quintet do a new game in the Soul Blazer series. Preferably with past-gen style and next gen ambitions (ie, I think they'd have to limit their visual aspect in favor of a world that could be "expanded".)

Resident Evil 2 for NDS would be sweet to, totally agree (and I still think if Capcom were to bring back Resident Evil 1.5 content, a Deadly Silence 2 would be the way to do it)

    • If MG and MG2 are to be made, they should be made from scratch. Same story, same characters and all that...but brand new graphics and gameplay. MGS2/3's or MGS4's gameplay are fine...I just want these games(the story, really) done as much justice as possible.

      • Portal was EPIC. No other words for it. Amazing how they actually managed to put a storyline to it too, and a really emotional one at that. Great work Valve!

EDIT: Oops, was on page 2 with this response I need to catch up more

Portable Ops engine is exactly what I was talking about.

Well, the thing is, I like the new camera system, but on the PSP it just doesn't work. Without a second analog stick, it's pretty terrible. So yeah, basically, I'd want the camera system to be like in Snake Eater, before Subsistence. When the camera was top down, but still dynamic and independent.

I don't have a problem with the english translation but one.
It let's some facts out of the game, which the japanese version had.
And also the japanese version ran with 30 FPS and the PAL versions only
with 25 FPS. Doesn't sound like much, but you feel a huge difference while playing the game. If Square is really going to remake more Enix-Games then Terranigma should be the next title on their list. They would have at least one person who'd buy it ;-)

                EDIT:
The german translation was very well done, but somehow I kind of hate the german language and need english games/books/films to prove and improve my english.

The Subsistence camera was much better than Snake Eater's, but you're right, on the PSP, fixed angles work much better.

Yeah, like I said. It's just a small matter of a second analog stick.

                      • 0 and REmake already got ported to the Wii.

Yes, ported. 0's only in Japan as far as I know, and REmake... well I dunno.

So if Capcom were to REmake RE2 (which is doubtful, at least in the way I want them to REmake it), it'd likely go to the Wii. Yay for me! Or possibly "Nay for me!"

                        • Bushido Blade 2 deserves a remake, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as funny; the updated technology would result in not being able to roll around manically when both legs were damaged...

I'd love to see SOS The Final Escape with updated graphics and running on a smoother engine, not that the old game ran THAT badly, but it would be nice to see it not struggle. It kind of added to the game, but still...

I'd of course be on board with a REmake of Resident Evil 2, but I can't see that ever happening sadly

                          • I'd like to see a remake of Breath of Fire III and Final Fantasy Tactics. I know Tactics was already remastered for the PSP, but I'd enjoy seeing one for PS2 or 3. When I first heard it was getting remade, I thought it would be for the DS since all the other FF games were being ported to it. Sadly I was mistaken.
