Yep, I remember the conversation with Naomi in the prison in MGS1, but it was never spoken of in MG2.

I would also love to hear David Hayter's take on the voice of younger Snake.

Eh. I feel like his performances got worse with each game. He was awesome in MGS1, though...and I don't think they'd cast anyone else as Snake.

Naw, his performances were awesome all the way through. His acting in MGS3 was nothing short of amazing, probably his best. And Portable Ops was great too. He obviously went for a little more gruff to his voice in MGS4 since Snake was old and dying.

Dizzy I'm not sure if making it 3D though will destroy the whole element of play like it did with Sonic maybe keep it as a 2D scroller with better graphics either way it'll probably never be made because codemasters own the Dizzy franchise not Blitz Games.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed is already out. That's the one that is a remake.

Silent Hill. The original. Well, not so much a remake as a graphical upgrade.

I dunno, the graphical style of Silent Hill 1 is somewhat part of the "package". I'd like to see an NDS port job to go right next to my Resident Evil - Deadly Silence.

Definitely a remake of Final Fantasy 7. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Dino Crisis have REmake like graphics.

Final Fantasy VII is still on my list of games I don't think would "work" in the world of remakes. The most awkward parts of Crisis Core, Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus was some of the legacy left behind from FF7 that just didn't "translate" very well to a new medium at all.

Though, Dino Crisis is something I'd love to see return in full next gen glory.

Some games should never be remade because there's no way they can get any better. Final Fantasy 7 was one of them, and Silent Hill 2 is another one. That game is legendary and should not be touched. Silent Hill 4, now there's a game that could use a remake, simply so that this time it's not rushed and the endings are made to more of their full potential.

Totally agree. There are games that just wouldn't work in a remade form, or would have to be changed so drastically to work that the so called "fans" would do nothing but complain about childhood rape and milking (though, they always do that anyway. 'cause fans never knows what they want.)

Seeing a more "complete/expanded" version of Silent Hill 4 would be nice, though.

FFVII, VIII and IX for the PSP, but with a Relocalisation for FFVII.

With the quality found in most recent "re-localizations" (or more like lack of), I don't think anyone should open the can of worms known as FFVII. If anything, they should just include the minor changes/edits found in the PC version for any evt. re-releases of the game. (although, Eidos/whatever might have some sort of "ownership" for those)

i would like to see a rerelease of FFVII but not entirely a remake persay...why is that not a word?

anyway i think they should just remake the graphics ot crisis core standard and add very little voice acting liek in crisis core. to me crisis core was a great add on to the final fnatasy series explaining how zack got the HAS [huge ass sword] and more importantly...how screwed in the head shinra is.

IF it gets a overhaul in every aspect then yes i would not like it, buti f its just a graphics upgrade with lite voice acting them im all on board

Yes, but I think a full on remake would be a more logical choice than simply porting something. The problem with SH1 is that it's become such a rare commodity that not many people who want to get into Silent Hill have the opportunity to experience it.
A PSN release would be nice.

i think RE2 shouldn't be such a problem, cause most of the game occurs indoors, but with RE3... i'm not so sure, cause you all know what they did whith RE:UC, they used all the scenarios form Outbreak!!!!

Well, Remake came out long before RE4, and it was directed by Shinji Mikami. A LOT has changed since then. Back then, yes, I'm sure they would've done justice to it. But today, I wouldn't be surprised if they RE4'd it up.

Well, I think that comment was more, 'Shouldn't it be next gen graphics since the 360 and PC can match the PS3', but I might be wrong.

I want Outbreak. With all the scenarios.

If they remade RE 2 and 3 I reckon they'd need to keep RE2 with the older tank controls, but RE3 I think might benefit from the newer control scheme. It was always a bit more action than some of the other Resident Evil games so I think, given how many sections occur in streets, that more zombies would really suit a the new system. In many ways, if they exanded the game to include more non-nessecery areas and some houses it would be pretty much my dream game.
