You know when RE2 should be made? When virtual reality technology means I play this as though I am there. Then it would be completely awesome, and I'd die a happy man. I'd also die of a heart attack when Mr X explodes out the wall behind me, but hey, I'd be happy.

Still, one with updated graphics and an expanded street section would be nice. Maybe they could even throw us some bones and include a trip to the other RPD building and the Umbrella office.

Yeah, no. If it's a remake, I want it with pre-rendered, or at least fixed camera angles and tank controls. True to the original. It's the true way to play Resident Evil.

I'd prefer fixed camera angles in any remake, but would it happen? I don't know.

yeah i totally agree, i love the camera angles so much, IMO there the best thing about RE, but a VR version of RE would be cool, but they should make a separate game especcially for it, not risk Remake 2 and 3 on it, just in case it's no that good, make it a sort of spin off like Outbreak.

I want Outbreak. With all the scenarios.

If they remade RE 2 and 3 I reckon they'd need to keep RE2 with the older tank controls, but RE3 I think might benefit from the newer control scheme. It was always a bit more action than some of the other Resident Evil games so I think, given how many sections occur in streets, that more zombies would really suit a the new system. In many ways, if they exanded the game to include more non-nessecery areas and some houses it would be pretty much my dream game.
yeah but RE is sort of a sony game more than microsoft, so PS3 graphics it is, and yeah i want Outbrek 1 and 2 to go on the PSN, so i can play online.

but about Remake 3, no f**king way, i don't want my favorite game ruined with that crappy RE4 style, camera angles or no Remake.

To be honest I've never understood why so many reviewers would complain about tank controls in every RE game. I never had problem with it and to be honest, I prefer it over 3D controls (tried it in SH3 and quickly switched back to 2D controls).
yeah but RE4 doesn't have camera angles, that's a big no no, camera angles on tank controls go together perfectly, one cant work without the other IMO, notice that RE4 still felt like a damn shooter even with tank controls, imagine RE5 now with straft includud, you get what im saying, you need camera angles as well.

and reveiwers are another word for stupid people who don't know a thing about games, movies or genre and especccail nothing about horror, never listen to them, i prefer the controls the developers meant the game to be played in, so if tank controls are defualt i play tank controls, besides i like tank controls better.

Tank controls, I think, are one of those things everyone hates at first. But once you learn it, I don't understand how one would want to play Resident Evil any other way.
My first Resident Evil game was RE2 for N64, and the N64 version had the option to switch the controls to 2D, meaning left was left, up was up, etc. Not tank controls.
And after playing with that control scheme for a bit, I said to myself, "No, I want to play this game the way it's meant to be played." So I sat down, turned the tank controls back on and learned them until they were second nature to me.

i agree, and that's exactly what i do when i get a game with hard controls, i don't go on a message board and whine "teh controlz iz to hardt" i sit down and figure them out, and like i alwasy say, BAD CONTROLS DON'T EXIST, ONLY BAD PLAYERS!!!!!!!!

                              Haha, amen.
Unless of course, the controls are completely broken. Like in games such as Death By Degrees. But yeah, that's completely different, because they're broken... So if they were to be fixed, poished, they'd work out just fine.

To a certain degree, I agree with that.

But I have to say there are truly cases where the controls of a game can be called pretty much anything but something positive/good.
