Got a text message from GameStop today saying that my copy of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves would be available tomorrow morning. Without thinking, I whipped out my schwang and started furiously stroking myself in the middle of my U.S.-East Asian Relations class. Good news is, I now have a lot of time to play Uncharted 2 because I have been expelled for my courageous perverted act.

Im still wondering if I should buy UC1 and rent UC2 or rent UC1 and buy UC2. I might just rent UC1

It's simple math. Rent UC1, buy UC2. Why? Because UC2 has TONS upon TONS more replayabilty in multiplayer and co-op than UC1 with it's lonesome single player campagin. Worth a playthrough, but not really to own.


UC2 on the other hand. . .. Yummy!

I have a question. It's kinda off topic but not really. When you are able to select chapters in Drake's Fortune, can you beat the game by going to the last chapter and beating it? Or do you have to start a new game to do that? Reason I ask is I only need the 2 trophies for hard and crushing difficulty and I was curious if there's a loophole there or not.

So I've been watching my recorded UC2 vids, trying to clear up some space. Boy it is weird to watch my earlier games, before I became a UC2 raptist. Some of these older games are actually kinda boring, like watching someone drive at 20 miles an hour kinda boring, lol. Not enough offensive, too much defense and reacting to things, instead of setting pace. But just the natural process at learning the ins and outs of a game I suppose.

I'm getting UC2 first thing in hte morning before school, but I still don't know whether I'll play single player till it's done, play some and then learn the new maps first by myself or with a couple people I play with, or learn the new maps first and then play single player until those people feel like jumping onto multiplayer. Hmmmm. Choices choices. I'll probably end up running around the new maps by myself first just to try to get them in my head, then SP till some peeps are avaiable to romp all over some newbie ass. Hehe.

EDIT*** Oh, and before I forget. . .Cheers to all my fellow UC2 and THIA friends. Hope everyone has a ball tommrow and then some!

I have no desire to play the multiplayer before I beat the story mode.

Multiplayer is fun and all, but it's repetitive and will probably get old in a few weeks...plus with all the lag issues I experienced in the Beta, sue me if I'm not chomping at the bit to play with another 10,000+ people banging the servers.

I'm excited to see the story fold out -- why Drake is down on his luck, just exactly what he's after, the love triangle with Elena and Choe, all of the undoubtedly awesome action sequences, the new stealth gameplay, platforming, puzzle-solving, et cetera. Multiplayer doesn't offer all that.

I'll jump online once I'm done with the singleplayer...but not a second earlier.

Well, I just got out of school about two hours ago, finished my homework like a good little boy and my brother was at the mall while I was doing it, so he said he'd pick up the game for me and I could just repay him when he got there... saved me about an hour to play before he went back to college. I'm so pumped. Same here with CR29, though, not touching the multiplayer until I finish the single player.
