Beat it about an hour ago on hard mode! and I must say Uncharted 2 is one of the best games I have ever played, if not the best!
Words cant describe how I feel right now... i just love this game!

DLC codes, postcards, steel tin cover. Nothing else. Considering I didn't pay a cent more than what the standard version cost I don't mind.

Depending on where you get it from you might get something else. I got a t-shirt. Others I know got metal drink bottles, satchel bags, etc. Most cases this didn't depend on if you got the LE or Regular, just that you pre-ordered or picked up first thing while stocks lasted.

EB are doing crazy deal here for the first three days because the 250GB PS3 launched the same day with Uncharted 2 bundled in, and are including with them the pre-order bonus' + a free copy of COD4 for only $100 more than the 120GB PS3 already cost by itself too. If I didn't already have a PS3, I know I would have been picking one up today for that insane deal.

So far on hard mode today I got up to chapter 22. Damn. It's nice to play this at home than the other week, normal mode was a bit too easy I found first time. I'm even taking my time looking around so it's all good. Can't wait to finish the rest off again tomorrow!

I got this gem yesterday.
I went up to chapter 18 and could have finished it off but I actually wanted to 'save some' for later today.
WOW!!!
I can't begin to describe how much I've been loving the game so far. It would be too big a post for me to describe all the things I love about it, so I'll just say that it definitely deserves all the praise, high scores and hype that it's been getting.
It's so damn good and everything in the game is of such high quality, that it kind of makes everything that's come before it look a bit crap and childish. It's such a joy to play through and 'watch' (I'm so glad that the cutscenes can be enjoyed, without having to worry about quickly pressing button combinations to avoid instant death).
It's jaw dropping! ...Quite possibly surpasses Killzone2 as the best looking game I've ever seen (though, they have very different artistic styles).

Just beat the game... And I think something's wrong with my PS3. I think the awesomeness blew it up. Like, I cannot begin to describe to you how good this game is. I doubt there are words powerful enough, so this game should be the new benchmark word. "Oh, that's so Uncharted 2!!" Spoiler:

If they go ahead with an Uncharted 3, I can only wonder how they can make even better, or if they even can at all.

If there was one thing that deserved this amount of hype, it's Uncharted 2.

It's what I would call the first true killer app since like... Super Mario 64.

And I agree with PSM's score. 21/20 seems rather fitting.

Play.com claim they mailed it Tuesday, theres been no postal strikes this week but the post just came today and no game.
So im pretty steamed about that considering usually their deliveries in the past 2 years come a day early before release, now it seems *for their past 2 big game releases* they're delivering late again.

My game froze right near the end too (I think it was the 2nd last chapter). I'd just killed a whole bunch of f**kers and was breathing a sigh of relief when "Oh no! It's frozen!!!"
I've read a number of people saying it happened. Thankfully, it only happened the once and it had auto saved so I didn't have to repeat anything.
The auto save is very handy a lot of the time. Especially when it's so easy to stuff up a jump and fall to your death. But a few times I spotted a treasure and thought, maybe I'll traverse that way later and pick it up. But you pass a point of no return and it saves so quick that you can't go back.
It's one of a very few minor 'complaints'. Not really complaints. Kinda like saying you don't like the freckles on the supermodel you're banging.

I'm already looking forward to replaying it again soon.
