EDIT: Syphon Filter does this too. None of the weapons power depreciates. There are certain handguns more powerful than others, but other than that. You could snipe people with a handgun from vast distances. Never bothered me.

If anything, the one thing that bothered me about Drake's Fortune was that all the cutscenes have been pre-rendered. So the bonus costumes that you earn didn't transfer into the cinematics. I mean, I realize they dealt with some intense things, but still.

Well i knew there would be a Uncharted 2 the 1st one was great I just pray that they can at least do some thing with the combat in the next one the gun fights where anoying as hell but fingers crossed that this one will be better than the last one.

You really should. Like I said, basically it's like if they took Tomb Raider, got rid of tits, and added excellent shooting mechanics.
The gun fights were so much fun in that game. Some people who hate RE4 say, "I only play it if I wanna shoot a bunch of people," I tell them, "Get Uncharted. It's much more fun."

Why do you say it's darker? Because he's bleeding? Or because of what he says? Frankly, he's asking for it if he's going after more treasure, after everything that happened to him in Drake's Fortune...that's what I took the line in the trailer as. Not as a "oh God, the world is coming to an end, CTHULHU!" kind of thing.

Was referring to a) The blood, meaning they're pushing for a darker tone b) The location, in the middle of a blizzard, sure it could be just for that particular scene but it also sets for a darker mood due to the isolation of Drake in that trailer and c) yeah the dialogue certainly implies a more grizzled mature/darker adventure.

Not like im ripping it to shreds before its even out, it might even be better then the first, just hoping Drake doesn't sprout longer hair, bad tattoos and starts screaming "DIE YOU BASTARD", "YOU BITCH" and "I AM FILLED WITH GENERIC RAGE!!!" like the Prince did.

Yeah, the game was incredibly well written. Although the Firefly influences were very evident. Even if you don't count the fact that they hired Firefly's composer to score for the game.

It was all serious and depressing. The second teaser showed us that the game will have that classic "Nathan Drake' side.
I thought his comment on the blood was pretty funny.
