The copy was probably released on purpose, as data of what you play amongst other things is stored in flash memory on a NAND chip and sent back to MS, or so they say.

Then, you get their ban hammer shoved up your rectum. Unless of course, you pass off their security sectors and are able to fully keep your leaked copy indistinguishable from an official one. But who's going to sit around for that, much more risk getting banned anyway from messing up? I still wouldn't play that on XBL, ever! They ban your entire console. Then you have to buy a new one. No thanks.

well if i remember my first few posts here on THIA i got accused of piracy and got the ban hammer for a week.

Got my copy. Retail. Good thing PSN is somewhat lenient, though I haven't yet played it.

Those fucks at Gamestop, I called them up and they told me to come by as I don't have to reserve if I want a copy now. I go there and the cashier tells me "Our higher-ups have told us to stop selling it about 10 minutes ago." I call a bunch of their stores and they have the same story. Lucky for me where I live a video game store is like a bodega so I found a non corporate one and they sold it (no receipt).

Well, if someone sells me Left 4 Dead 2 or DSC earlier than other retailer, I will buy it there. That's the advantage, easy money.

Well, GameStop is in fact losing money because of that, so what other solution they have left? Maybe a discount on the release date? It's easier to sell them if you already have 'em... And don't lose any cash in the process.

Just a few more days til this game is released and i just cant wait! ive been madly brushing up on my Skills on COD4 so that im ready for the online play. Hope this game is as intense as COD 4 and 5 also i wonder if infinity ward has any thing like Nazi Zombies. I know that they wont have Nazi zombies in this game but i wonder if MW2 will have its own mini game
