So, I figured we could use a topic to discuss it, and I mean every aspect of it, instead of having a separate thread about how awesome God of War trailer was, and another one about how awesome Brutal Legends trailer was.
First of all... Wow, I did not think 50 Cent could get any less talented. But I was surprised. I mean, I could see why he became popular, despite having the shallowest lyrics aside from Soulja Boy and Hurrican Chris, he had good beats, decent flow, and catchy hooks... So what happened to that? Okay, the instrumental wasn't bad, but it would've been better if Fif' hadn't been there at all. That was a terrible performance, they should've had Busta Rhymes perform instead.
Back ups by Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks didn't help either. The whole thing sucked. He only got yo do it because he's got his own video game coming out. Speaking of which, Fif', you already tarnish Hip-Hop, stop tarnishing Video Games, too!
Aside from that, it was awesome. I enjoyed the other performances. Particularly the opera at the beginning. Tenacious D know how to put on a show, that's for damn sure.
It's a shame GTA4 won game of the year. I mean, it received the most hype, yes, but the game itself wasn't even as good as San Andreas. But that might just be my bias toward MGS4. Either way, even LittleBIGPlanet or Fallout 3 deserve it more than GTA4, I think.
