I just finished Perseus Mandate, and I gotta admit:

THAT WAS FUN!

Lots of nice gunfights and a consistently fast paced game. Nice long length too. I'd give it 8/10, and would even go as far as to say it was better than the original. Less Alma, more bullets. I like.

The mech suit was shit. Everything else about the game really appealed to me though. I don't understand why people were saying "It's been dummed down for console players" because it doesn't really feel all that, well, stripped back.

Still picking this one up come Feb 13th, though.

Really? I thought it felt good. I mean, it gives you a nice break from both the on foot combat without falling back on the usual "We don't have a firefight so let's try and make this area creepy". It makes you feel pretty powerful too, without over doing it and feeling like you've just activated god mode.

Never been that big of a fan of the series, but the demo was enjoyable. Hopefully all the audio kinks are ironed out for the final release, because I can tolerate some slowdown but not that.

It's times like these that I wish I had a good gaming PC, because it really looks like it's the way to go.
