My only problem with the trailer is they used the MP2 version of the theme. Don't get me wrong, I love that the theme is there and I wasn't sure if they would be able to use it(I almost squealed when I realised what I was hearing). But they should redo it in a different manner like 1 and 2 did. Maybe make it more relevant to the setting. They went to the trouble of hiring Pedro Bromfman, he should be able to take a crack at it.

Okay, I think I got the timeline kinda figured out.
First is Max in his MP2 attire(when he talks about not being a cop anymore) right after Max Payne 2.
Then Max becomes a bodyguard with a full beard/nice haircut combo.
Chick gets kidnapped.
Then Max is washed up, addicted to painkillers, and an alcoholic(maybe because he failed to save the girl).
Then something forces Max to sober up. At this point Max is like "fuck this shit" shaves his head and goes off to kill many people while wearing a variety of hawaiian shirts for some reason.
This is all spread out over eight years.

I still hope it's a map inspired by a SP area.
