Graphics look GREAT! Plus, it's music to the ears to hear that the original Max Payne VA is now back in the saddle as both VA/Motion Capture actor. Actually excited for this now. Between this and LA Noire, Rockstar looks set to rape my wallet.

Oh, I've seen them. I have been over those scans so many times I practically have every word and screen memorized. Which brings me to something I said earlier.


That's Max's apartment from MP2. He even has the same fucking tie.

They've got that wrong, in that MP2 scene the enemies were all wearing cleaner outfits, that's how they got into the building. At least that's how i remember it, haven't played through it in a while.

It's most likely after Max Payne 2 during that scene and probably one of the reasons that lead to him going to Brazil.

I doubt it. His apartment was completely destroyed. Plus, his clothes are exactly the same as early in game MP2. No cleaners might be intentional. So they don't give away the fact that it's a MP2 flashback.

This actually goes along with an idea I had a while back. Basically the tutorial level could be like the "Previously" from 2, but playable. Ether as Max telling the story or as a nightmare, we would play briefly through key elements in 1 and 2's story to get us comfortable with the new controls as well as catch anyone up that needs it. Probably won't happen, but a man can dream.
