I bought a 60 gb ps3 when they first came out, then sold it. Several months later I bought a 80 gb ps3 with the dual shock controller for a pretty cheap price, with one catch...no backwards compatability. By the way, I also sold my ps2 so I haven't been able to play any classic RE games for a long time and I'm needing my fix. I was just wondering if there was any way for you to add the ability to a ps3 that doesn't have one?

So a PAL PS3 will play PAL PS1 games etc.
Only PS2 back compatibility was removed from later models.
So the only RE games you'd miss out on are CV, Survivor 2, and Dead Aim.

Whoa, I was not aware of this. That's pretty much all I need anyways, thought I'd play 1 and 2...SelfishGene's mask also got me craving for 3 lol. I played RE4 for so long I think I can go without it for another 6 years. Thanks guys.Last edited by REmaster; 03-31-2009, 12:01 AM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."
