What? Gears of war for PS3?

I was checking out the forums on the playstation network and i found a forum that there is a "pirated" gears of war for the PS3. Is this true?

Code cannot just be put on a console and just work, i know very little about programming but im pretty sure this is basics 101. There is also the fact that PS3 has not been hacked to play anything yet, except for some interactive images. I'm also pretty sure that you couldnt get anything working unless you had a copy of the unreal engine and the original source code.

So yeah, don't believe people on the internet (all hopes and dreams will be shattered) including me

IF Gears was ported to the PS3...it would suck. But yeah...totally April Fools.

Not that it would matter for me too much anyway, considering I own both systems...but I really didn't think Gears 1 was all that spectacular. I'll reserve judgment on the series until I play Gears 2.

^ the gameplay is copy-pasted from gears 1, and besides a few nice story snippets and one REALLY pretty looking level, there really isn't much to it .

Well the ps3 is not all that great either come to think of it, both systems is not all that great. Its just not possible for a system to be perfect. We like to think that its perfect but in reality, its not. Each one has its pros and cons and if you think that one of these systems are perfect or the best. Then you need to get out more. I even think that the xbox 720 and ps4 wont be perfect either, we will never be satisfied and thats the truth. We are just gonna want more and more.
