Yeah the saviour/good ending seems to be the one they have gone with. The Big Sister is one of the original Little Sisters, I am not sure if she actually ever left Rapture or was a stray left behind but I believe the story is she has been leaving Rapture and stealing little girls and bringing them back to Rapture. Or at least the marketing seems to suggest that as they say that little girls have been going missing.

If you look at the original teaser on the PlayStation 3 version of the game it shows that the original Little Sisters are now in their teens. They have either done that to show that time has passed since the original or they will figure into the events of BioShock 2.

I believe the marketing is correct in that the Big Sister is going out and kidnapping little girls. As for the first teaser trailer....that girl very well may be the Big Sister herself.

What can I say, it looks like Bioshock.
Not that im complaining much I enjoyed the first.
I just hope they continue the references to philosophy, but expand.

I can't wait for this. I loved the first game. Being a big daddy this time around sounds like it'll be tons of fun. The Big Sister is awesome looking, I also can't wait to hear more info about her.

Anyone know when this will getting released? I don't think there's a release date yet but I'm not exactly sure.

Third Quarter, so if anyone knows when that is they'll be able to take a guesstimate.

I almost always reserve games that I'm wanting so I can pay in installments and have my copy ready for me right on the offset. =D

Graphically, it looks phenomenal and atmospheric. Certainly a step up on the scare factor from the previous game. The original BioShock wasn't frightening, but it had that underlying eerie atmosphere that I loved to bits. From what I've seen here, it looks like 2K are going for a more horror based game. I'm not too keen on the Big Sister, just strikes me as another Nemesis-type creature. I'm sick of those, just like I got sick of that arsehole in Dead Space.

I miss Andrew Ryan. A true visionary.

Plus he was voiced by Armin Shimmerman, I believe, something I cannot wrap my mind around.

It looks fairly similar to the old one. Honestly? I think that's a good thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Not ever sequel needs to have brand new shiny super stuff. The one thing I might like to see, given that you're a Daddy apparently, is the Splicers not being automatically hostile at least for the first section of the game.

And added AI for added terror is always a good thing. Personally, I did find BioShock quite scary, but it helps that I suck at FPS games.

Which again is a bonus. Ryan had a certain Ferengi-like quality to him.

they've said this game won't disappoint. Let's see what kind of messed up Cohen style characters they bring.

I can't see why they wouldn't bring back Cohen, technically he isn't dead if you followed his character arc properly you simply left after doing his set of missions.
