I saw the 'Climax Edition' in a shop today.
It comes with an art book and a soundtrack cd. I might go back and buy it next week.

I thought the demo was ok. I havn't got around to reading the reviews yet (although I heard it got a perfect score at Famitsu).

Unlike many people here, I'm not outraged or offended about the sexualization of a video game character... (How dare they! )

To be honest, I'm surprised by the fact that no one's gotten around yet to pick on the extremely religious nature of the content in the game.

I played two chapters and turned it off. The gameplay was fantastic but everything else just didn't click for me. A pity really, I was looking forward to Bayonette but I guess it's just not a game for me.

Well I've finally gone through it on Normal (Oh god, the difficulty in some places with specific enemies that required godlessly dodging maneuvers and the right combat style) and I've got to say that I had a complete blast. The game deserves the praise it has got. And this is the best action game yet, with the scale on many enemies off the scale. Platinum Games and Sega have to be one of the best things coming out from this generation (especially when I can take a nice nostalgia trip to the ol' Sega days in some areas) and I can't wait for Mikami's game next.

Quite funny though that I've actually tried out After Burner Climax before getting to Chapter XV; I was like "HOLY CRAP, IT'S LIKE AFTER BURNER!". Now I understand why they call it "Climax".
