Best games ever!

I was getting depressed while reading the "worst games ever" thread because I was wondering why I've spent so much money on video games over the years, then it hit me. There are good games! They're just a bit harder to find. For the lifespan of this thread's sake, They don't literally have to be one of the "best games of all time"(Just so this thread isn't mgs,mgs2,mgs3,mgs4,gow..etc), they can also be an opinionated favorite. So, post em up!
Here's my top 10 pick for the bext games ever (as of now):

When I think of this list...I think of games that I love so much that they either had an impact on my life because of their greatness or simply because I played them so friggin' much. Keeping that in mind...

My top 10:

3. Final Fantasy VIII
4. Resident Evil 2
5. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
6. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
7. Sonic the Hedgehog 3
8. Final Fantasy X
9. Resident Evil
10. I'm not sure. I really wanna say Resident Evil 5. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun with a game. And isn't that what games are supposed to be about? Fun? Also, it's tough for me to think of anything else I'd want to put here. Maybe SOCOM II because it's still to this day the greatest online game I've ever played. Maybe MVP Baseball 2005 because I'm a huge baseball fan and I played it so much that I memorized the lyrics to pretty much every song on the game's soundtrack.

For now, I'll go with RE5 at #10.

Shenmue 1 & 2
Gears of war 1 & 2
Killzone 2
Dino crysis (2 and 3 sucked)
Halo 1, 2, & 3
Conker Live & reloaded (Funniest game ever!)
Star wars Battlefront 1 & 2
Run Like Hell (xbox)

Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I know, cliched, but it caught me at age 6 so I was hooked ever since. XD It's my ritual to play it every New Year's Eve.

Also, the RE series (excluding 4), the MGS series, the Silent Hill series... yeah. From each of those series, I'd say RE2 or REmake, MGS1, and SH2. Great achievements.
