It would be amazing! Other than that, I would have said No More Heroes, but I recently found they were making one... That game was SO retarded!
I think its safe to say Final Fight Streetwise murdered that franchise for good.

If they were to do Deathtrap Dungeon then Ian Livingstone would have to write a new book, but maybe Citadel of Chaos would be just as good as it's the same world...

Oh wow, I remember that game. Wasn't it a PS2 launch title? It was pretty damn difficult for a beat-em-up, at least for me when I played it 7 or 8 years ago. The characters were ripped straight out of Final Fantasy games and given hand-to-hand combat abilities, but the story seemed pretty interesting...sad to say I never beat it, and I probably sold the game along with my PS2 last summer.

Damn. I wanna play it now.

Yeah, it was pretty much Square-Enix's (known then as Square) attempt at appeasing the masses before the first "next-gen" Final Fantasy was released. Come to think of it, I'm sure it came with a playable demo or a trailer for Final Fantasy X. Then again maybe not. Anyway, thousands flocked to it in order to satisfy their desires and came away rather pleased with the result.

It's a shame that Square-Enix are unlikely to follow it up with a sequel, namely because it's served its purpose - which was to keep the FF fans happy until an actual FF came out. Unfortunate.

Nah, although I would love to see another adventure of Guybrush Treepwood, I think Escape from MI was more than enough (Guybrush fighting commercialisation of pirate's culture ) and the game didn't have this MI charm.

What I would love to see though is another Gabriel Knight game. Sure, GK3 was far from being perfect (from what I've read the game was rushed and they had lots of problems with the 3d engine), but still... Jane Jensen have said in one of interviews that she is more than willing to do another game and is planning the story...

This had 3 somewhat spiritual sequels.

                            Rogue Squadron (N64/PC)
Rogue Squadron 2 - Rogue Leader (GC)
Rogue Squadron 3 - Rogue Leader 2 - Rebel Strike (GC)

And they were all good. Though, they of course didn't have the same excessive amount of cinematic hilarity of Rebel Assault 1-2. Though, Rebel Strike did include some on foot stuff and the speeder bike stuff that felt like a total over the top tribute to Rebel Assault.

Factor 5 better be doing Wii re-releases of all Rogue Squadron games.

Heck yeah! That and Perfect Dark needs some of that XBLA treatment Banjo Kazooie (and Banjo-Tooie) have been rolling around in.

                            Jeff & Barry Racing FTW!

This is one of the correct answers to this thread.
Less child characters, though. (Cooke was fine, Mack was annoying. Having them as adults would also be okay)

Lost Odyssey already made full closure to its story, but also planted several seeds for a whole new game (or games) set in the same world at some undecided point later in time (even in the past would work too).

Too bad recycling the A Thousand Years of Dreams formula might not work too well, although I'd really love to see it done again. Guess a character who reminiscences on his/her past could be a way to go, but without it being another memory loss or set centuries ago. Or evt. just cut segments of the story out and present them entirely as visual novels. Or evt. have recap narratives that just elaborates on stuff you just did, putting you more into the mind of how the characters just experienced it (like a diary being written or something).

Ah, yes, The Bouncer! One of SquareSoft's little babies from the time when they dared to do random shit. One of the first DVD titles on the PS2 (actually, might've been "the first". At least in Europe it was the first DVD release, if I remember correctly.)

Game was pretty much entirely made out of Final Fantasy VIII assets recycling, and it still makes me laugh how Sion is hilariously awkwardly similar to the design of Sora (Kingdom Hearts). It's as if he's a stepping stone between Squall and Sora in Nomura's evergrowing belt of uninspiring character designs (His designs worked when other people were supervising the art direction and shit)

Game didn't come with any FFX demos or anything like that. What it did come with was an absurd amount of replay value. At the end of every stage, you got to pick between one of the 3 characters (which to play as next), this wouldn't affect the story in any way, but it'd enable you to see the story from the perspective of the various characters and get to peek into their individual little worlds of why they're there and what their connection to all of it is. Pretty awesome system, really. Either switching between the characters multiple times during a playthrough or going solo with one of them to just see their stuff.

I'd love to see the formula repeated, but I don't think a sequel to The Bouncer is the way to go.
