What is your favorite game ending?

Crisis Core had a good ending, but I couldn't really cry or get too emotionally attached as lets face it, anyone familiar with the continuity of the series knew what was going to happen at the end.
But it was an awesome run through to the end though.

Twisted Metal: Black

Which one? There were quite a few of these though that disturbed me. Twisted Metal has always worked like that in an exaggerated way. Singletrac should have released the campy original live-action ones in Urban Assault though. This one's my favorite:

after all the shit from the first and second game and everyone he lost it really gave him a better reason to keep living than the first game

after all the shit the protagonist went thru in the end it was all over and it was like it never happened which was lil weird but made sense

Devil May Cry 3- it explained everything and pretty much tied the series together. very well done
Metal Gear Solid 3- beautiful
Metal Gear Solid 4- explained EVERYTHING and more and it was beautiful too

one of my fave endings ever in a game is Dino Crisis 2's ending. it was definately one of those jump in the air type of endings lol. i also love the Halo 3 ending, Devil may cry ending, RE3 ending, Mass Effect, Too Human, Prey (set it up for a sequel), Blacksite. and im sure theres more that i cant remember atm lol oh and the GOW2 ending

yeah mgs 3 ending, i know a lot of people who cried at the end, though they didn't want to admit that
and i told myself i would not cry for mgs 4 ending because i heard some hardcore people were wimpering about it, but that one part where otacon was talking about snake and how he had a hard life made me tear up lol

Metal Gear Solid 3 hands down, it just felt so epic, especially when they showed the flash back of The Boss' last encounter with Big Boss, the music just was astounding

I really enjoyed the ending of Dead Space.

As soon as you made it to the ship and flew away, I knew I was in for one last scare. Regardless, I never expected it to be Nicole (hallucination or not), and it scared the shit out of me even though I had already prepared myself for it. I think it also fueled my thirst for a sequel.

That is the scariest ending I have experinced ever. Event Horizon's ending comes after that (which is an obvious influence for Dead Space)

yea i thought that dead space seemed to be influenced a little bit by even horizon, the ending was a good scare though it was like the game developers wanted to just slip one last heart attack in their lol
