What is your favorite game ending?

Fatal Frame 2 - It made me cry, thats how sad it is. xD And Tsukiko's singing, the music, it gets to you. ;_;

Fatal Frame 3 - Starting from when Miku is running to 'her death' upto the very ending, this is just epic.
It's really sad when Rei is screaming for Miku to not leave her, and when Tsukiko AGAIN sings in the ending, I got goosebumps and chills down my spine at the event.

Well, the endings that have stuck in my mind for the longest would be Metal Gear Solid 3 and the In Water ending in Silent Hill 2 (I hear it's supposed to be the most canonical) but I wouldn't call them my favorite.

either choose to work for the g-man or be left for dead...you had no choice but to trust this weird man. I like how it goes right into half life 2 as well. Freezes Gorden and transports him onto the train...just like that, no age acceleration at all.

Final Fantasy X, although a tad bit cheesy at times, did have a pretty nice ending.
I actually do like some of the stuff they did with X-2, although the game was a bit of a mess in every possible ways.


Still love the opening part of Final Fantasy X, though.

There's just a really nice set of scenes with how it goes from the campfire-ish scene with To Zanarkand playing, then you get taken to the scene with the funky remix of the main theme playing and you get to see what a famous hot shot Tidus is, then you get taken to the scene where you walk down the street with Tidus' theme playing and you get the radio voice over, then followed by a very FFVIII-ish FMV and some nice tutorial-ish battles and stuff. Bla bla bla bla bla.

Yeah, FFX had some good moments.

Some of the best ending for me were Metal gear solid 3 and 4 and Final fantasy X and Resident evil 2.

I'd have to agree on RE2 as well. I wouldn't of agreed until a few weeks ago, simply because I never completed a 'B' scenario, but I bought it on Gamecube not long ago and the 'B' scenario really does just improve the story and makes the ending so much better.

Yes... that scene made me want to just mute and walk away from my T.V for a few minutes.

Actually most of Tidus's dialogue throughout the entire game was painful but
excuse his voice and that game I think was 10/10 ... xD

Yes, I did which took me forever to Now that I think about it. MGS4 ending was a bit better than Halo 3's ending
