You're all forgetting Konami's Simpsons game as well, which was built off the same engine as TMNT and was surprisingly just as playable.

I was reading through with all this Turtles, Streets talk and couldn't believe there was no mention of the Simpsons, brilliant game, wasted many 20ps on that back in the day!

Eh? How are they not beat 'em ups?

Oh, and Violent Storm developed by Konami is the greatest arcade (and beat 'em up) game ever made.

Turtles in Time is one awesome game though, same goes for 90% of Konami and Capcom's beat 'em ups in general. Can't wait.

Aaaah, because Wiki said it, it's true! haha

Ask 100 gamers to name a beat 'em up, 90% would probably come back to you with a game in the vein of Street Fighter, Rival Schools, King Of Fighters etc

Don't kill eachother now! Damn youngsters! Those 100 people you ask probably wouldn't know a beat 'em up if they saw one! 'Cause there haven't been many beat 'em ups lately. God Hand is the last "new" one I can remember, at least.

(Okay, so there was that Guilty Gear 3D game thingy too, I guess. And some might argue that those Sengoku Basara/Dynasty Warriors thingies are classified as beat 'em ups too, though... thanks to their fanbase I bet it's more like beat 'em offs)
