The New UFC Game.


Finally another realistic fighting game for ps3/xbox360. I originally played the Pride fighting game on ps2, and it was awesome. I like it so much because you can't just go in there and start throwing punches, because next thing you know your on the ground getting your leg snapped. The last UFC game on ps2 was a big disappoinment, compared to pride. However, this time around it seems as though UFC have finally perfected a their fighting game. I've been playing the demo since it came out and I have pretty much all good things to say about it. Graphics are amazing...I've never seen cuts that look so good, the way the fighters bleed, everything. Even their legs will become red and bruised after sustaining kicks to the shins. There's also a wide variety of fighters since many Pride fighters have joined UFC. The technical fighting is great, with various submissions and styles. The game is also more realistic because you can be winning the whole match, but if your opponent gets in that one good punch...it's over. Some people have complained about the "random k.o." but it happens all the time in real fighting. Also, a k.o. only occurs when you've been weakened a bit and can only be performed by a strong attack, so, be sure to block and stay away from power punches/kicks and you should be ok. To add to this already impressive fighting game, there will also be a create-a-fighter mode, as well as online play. UFC: Undisputed will be released May 10th. See you in the octagon

It's a lot of fun, i can never play the demo for just one fight, usually six or seven.

But i do get bored rather quickly of how Chuck Liddell likes to be chased by guys.

^ I hear ya. I'm trying to get good with with takedowns/submissions but it's hard not to pick Chuck because of his ridiculous strong punches. Can't wait to see who else is on the roster.

im downloading the demo when i get home, it sounds pretty fun. i played one of the UFC ps2 games and i thought it was fun.

Was playing this for hours in my mate's house, I kicked thier asses so many times they got used to Shogun and learnt submissions then they made me tap out several times. Great game though real good fun. Love the knockouts.

Yea, my favorite fighter is Michael Bisping, hope he's in there. He's pretty much the only reason I watch UFC: US v.s. UK, I want UK to win just for Bisping lol.

Yes lol. If you thought the one on ps2 was fun than you will probably be delighted with this one. Everything about it is great, although it can be difficult at times, which a realistic game should be. I've tried to be very technical so I use shogun but I can never tap out the computer lol. I'll rock Chuck for two straight rounds but when I go for the submission I still can't get him to tap lol. Whatever you do, go through the entire tutorial before you play the demo...lots of things to learn.

The only UFC game I got is for Dreamcast (hell I got two games for my dreamcast Code Veronica and UFC). That game introduced me to Mixed Martial Arts and I am so proud of that.

From the demo the game looks like it is gonna be a good one.

As for TUF Season 9 I support UK team too. I believe they will win this one

He steps into the ring in his first UFC fight and started just throwing punches left and right the guy he was fithing took him down to the mat and made him tap lol. He's an idiot, needs to learn that when your that big everyone is gonna look for a submission on you.

That's a twisted view of events? Firstly, it was Lesnar who put Mir down and took control (either half guard or side control, one of the two). It was when he got back to his feet that Mir grabbed a leg and Brock tapped. There was nothing idiotic about it, it was a rookie mistake, which is what Brock was (and in fairness, probably still is) at the time.

Also, how long ago was all that? Because right now, he's world champ, having destroyed one of the greatest of all time, with his next fight against Frank Mir once more.
