Fighting is excellent, everything outside of that is a chore.

Storymode needs a lot more work, like it did when Yukes/THQ started with the Smackdown series, and they improved that aspect over time at least!

yha the WWE story has gotten alot worse the past few years.
corrected the best story mode was in HCTP with the subtitled story lines using real audio voice overs of the wrestlers seriously limits the amount of story lines.

We're not talking about the story, it's the mode itself. It went from being a repetitive, flat "mode" to something that's offered more variation as the years have gone by.

I'm still going to buy it just because like Stu said the fighting is pretty much the best around at the moment, and me and my buddies have fun playing eachother all the time. On another note, I'm glad Machida knocked out Rashad Evans last night for the Championship, now he's 15-0 and Evans is 18-1 ....lol @ the Ryu costume.

I played the 360 demo today and I've gotta say it's rubbish.
Even when done on hardest difficulty setting with 1 - 3 well timed wound up
jabs, I KO'd the opponent spark out every time. I hope you can customize the damage and
defense in the final game as realistic as it maybe to knockout your opponent with so little
effort it doesn't really offer any challenge, the only way I'd get a challenge would be to play real people.
Nice graphics though well apart from the low res crowd lol.

Yea it's alot harder when your against real people. Other than playing with someone side by side, (which is probably the most fun since you can personally rub it in their face ) you can play online ranking matches where it keeps track of your wins/losses, and you constantly level up the more fights you win - So that's pretty addicting. However, there are two things that bother me with online matches, and that's the people that send you hate mail everytime you beat them and the people who lag through the whole fight...which in most cases causes me to select the "give up" option, in which I automatically lose the fight and they get another win on their record, that's crap lol.

                  Liddell's overhand right is lethal.

Yea it sure is, I liked to play as Forest Griffin as well because he's got pretty much the same moves and style as Liddell. The fighter I use the most is probably Machida.
