Oh man. That game looked awesome. But still I believe it could get finished by another developer... 3D Realms got a lot of producer contacts: ID Software, Remedy, Rockstar, Take Two (I know they have the publishing rights).

But what the hell is Duke Nukem Trilogy?

Duke Nukem Trilogy (DNT) is an upcoming 3D platformer video game compilation co-published by Apogee Software and Deep Silver for the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable. The Trilogy is being developed by a Polish developer, Frontline Studios. The games announced to be included in the compilation include Duke Nukem: Chain Reaction, Duke Nukem: Critical Mass and Duke Nukem: Proving Grounds.
There is a trailer available but it doesn't really show anything http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K00DCK1l98

                        Thanks James!

Ahhh! Now I remember that trailer...

I had to edit this, is not like Manhattan Project, more like A Time To Kill, Land of The Babes and Zero Hour.
Still, not my favorite Duke experience...

Give me a FPS Duke dammit!

EPIC THREAD BUMP. But for good reasons.

DUKE NUKEM FOREVER IS BACK. BELIEVE IT.

There's been a lot of rumors that Gearbox and 2K were working on the title that 3D Realms never managed to finish... Guess what? It's true.

I still can't believe this. I've been waiting for this fucking game for a decade. A DECADE. Now Gearbox has the ball and I don't think they are going to screw this one up.

The big reveal is gonna happen today @ PAX.

Personally, I always thought the games themselves were pretty shitty and that Duke the character superseded everything else. His dialogue and overall disgusting behavior made the games appealing to me as a pre-pubescent child. As a mature gamer now, though, I can see how lame the games were as games. Hopefully 'Duke Nukem: (Took) Forever" will be a better video game than its predecessors.
