  • So let's try to see the glass half full... I think this is a much fairer review of the game:

    • I would agree with that review so far. Just got the game, played a few hours of SP, then tried some Duke Match and somehow got sucked in fairly easily.

      It's a fairly fun game.

        • I'm having a blast. I wonder how Gearbox will handle the next entry, since that one would truly be their game, not 3DRealms resurrected.

Well for starters: (AND DON'T CLICK ON THE SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE GAME, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!)

            Spoiler:

I believe that Gearbox can do a great job with the franchise. Just as long as they don't take 15 damn years to do it. I don't want to have 40 years by the time Duke 5 is released!

I think Gearbox can get but out in a decent clip. but I'm not expecting to hear anything about him until at least Colonial Marines has been out for a bit.

Although it wouldn't surprise me if they are already planning another game.

              • Borderlands 2 should come next after Colonial Marines I guess... Then we'll talk about the FIVE!

                • This horseshit came out before Colonial Marines? Crazy.

                  • I forgot about Borderlands. A sequel to that would be very nice. Maybe add a way to make our own weapons.

There is a way to do so on the original Borderlands... You'll need WillowTree, the online Gear Calculator Tool and depending on which version you are playing (PC, Xbox or PS3) a way to get the save and edit it.

OMG! That takes me back I have such fond memories of DN3D and Goldeneye in 4 player like this I remember one guy at school worked out how to use a signal splitter so you could play it via two tv's and we thought that was the greatest thing ever . . .

It makes me worry a little about it. A:CM has been in the making since at least 2006. If Gearbox didn't push much to update the work done by 3DRealms, and that applies to this... then A:CM may feel like a first HD generation title you would have seen on the 360 in 2007.
