They took the normal, exceptional soldier he was in MG and MG2 and turned him into a fucking freak child-ninja-prodigy named Null that spent his days in a tube before being released to fight Big Boss on the San Hieronymo peninsula. Frank Jaeger was a name given to him as a child soldier because they called him 'The Frank Hunter' because of the look on his face when he fought. Hunter is Jaeger in German.

I liked Grey Fox in MPO cause it means he was tortured and was a cyber Ninja even before Para-Medic allegedly did her thing.

The Ninja is Sunny.

The exoskeleton is different, the face is more effeminate than Raiden's and the eyes are reddish/brown, just like Sunny (only one in the series with such eye colour, I believe).

I think it's probably Sunny because Kojima tends to like reference to his past games, and having Sunny follow in her mother Olga's footsteps would appeal to him i think.

Raiden was just a head in MGS4, with a cyborg body.

So Frank could be just a head in MGS5 with just a cyborg body since he does have a similar suit to Ninja Raiden.

Besides I'm sure there were bits and pieces of him left after REX crushed him, he had armor on remember, and maybe he has an eye patch because his eye was destroyed.

Also Fox in MPO was being mind controlled kinda into being a perfect soldier to carry out missions, i would not be surprised if his head got resurrected to do the same kinda thing in MGS5. It would seem like something Kojima would do.

Yeah but Raiden had his regular body back at the end of MGS4, and during MGS4 he had both of his Blue eyes.
