Also if MGS5 is a prequel, then why would Raiden have brown eyes and an eye patch? He didn't have those in MGS2 or MGS4. Explain that.

Changes (lightening or darkening) of eye colors during puberty, early childhood, pregnancy, and sometimes after serious trauma (like heterochromia), do represent cause for plausible argument to state that some eyes can or do change, based on chemical reactions and hormonal changes within the body.

And just because he has some shit over his eye doesn't mean he lost it. I just cannot believe that some people believe it's Sunny just because of his change in eye color. Other people think it's Gray Fox because he has a bandana over his eye. People are so determined to look past the fact that the ninja's lower jawbone is gone, like Raiden's, and his headpiece is much like the one Raiden had in MGS4.

I'm pretty sure Raiden went into MGS4 pretty traumatized...what with, you know, thinking he lost his child, losing Rose, being captured, being experimented on, having his head removed from his body and becoming a cyborg and a shell of his former self...not to mention being haunted by his past memories of his days as a child soldier. Yeah. I'd say traumatized is a good word.

First...the eye color. Unless he underwent some serious changes in the headpiece as well as his eye color...not gonna buy it. Not to mention the facial structure for that picture strikes me a far too feminine. Look at the eye lashes, upper lip, and the cheek bones.

Plus, Raiden didn't have the strange bar code-esque thing on his forehead that this one does. So unless he got that added on recently...

Plus Naomi was raised by the original Ninja...and her eye color DOES match. And it makes more sense for her to have the eye patch considering where she 'died'.

Not saying this is "ZOMG CANNON", but am merely pointing it out as a possibility.

Good point with the Bar code thing, it's entirely possible.

I don't think it's a prequel because Raiden would not have changed his eye color twice and that bar code thing is on his head.

Plus i think Kojima would like the idea of Naomi following in her "Big Brothers" footsteps.

I really have no idea who it is but there all good theory's.
