No one knows yet. I'm gonna lean towards it being multiplatform, though.

I'll tell you one thing -- this game better be a prequel. Raiden got an extremely happy ending at the end of MGS4, and there's nothing left for him to do except live out his life with his family. I'd love it if this took place between MGS2 and MGS4.

Not that I care overall about the exclusivity... but a source for that exclusivity statement IGN tacked on the end there would be nice. Even a "Microsoft representative confirmed..." would be nice.

Edit - Ahh, it was inferred during the press conf... didnt watch it live (I enjoy my sleep and didnt want to get up at 5:25am my time). Interesting choice for Kojima still... not on the basis of 360's tech or anything, but purely a fanbase thing after making MGS4 a PS3 exclusive. Me thinks there will be a lot of pissy fans.

KJP podcast says nothing about the game being on PS3, yet they promise more announcements in the next few days.

I expect to hear about Big Boss, and the Mask teaser as well. Could it be possible that they're working on 3 seperate games?

To be honest that had better be set between MGS2 + 4 - but then I have issues because it'll reference story not mentioned in MGS4. Either way they do it it just screams of sullying everything he made MGS4 for.
