Yeah, I saw it. Who knows. There's more announcements coming in the next few days. Tomorrow is Sony's conference, Wednesday is Konami's conference. Kojima is not done and MGS is not done.

Looks like there might be confirmation that MGS: Rising could well be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PC in addition to Xbox 360. Konami's list of games on Games Press (a private PR service for the press) now shows the title coming to all three platforms. Konami unfortunately will not make official comment at this time, so we will have to wait for all the rumors to be proven true or false until tomorrow afternoon when Sony has its conference (11AM PST).

There was quite a lot of confusion on whether this game would only be on Xbox 360. During the conference, Microsoft specifically stated that everything shown after Final Fantasy XIII would be exclusive to 360, thus the original implication. A few hours later, G4 was able to quickly chat with Microsoft's John Schappert, where he said, "You know, we didn't say that it was exclusive..." (We apologize for the confusion if you've been following the many, many updates on this ongoing saga.) Konami put out a press release listing only an Xbox 360 version, but the word "exclusive" has yet to be mentioned in any MGS: Rising statement from Microsoft or Konami, and the comment at the Microsoft E3 Conference could have been a mistake.

IGN doubting Games Press is rather odd.

Now then, given that Kojima was initially in talks with Itagaki to have Raiden do a cameo in NGIII, I think this may be an action game. But Raiden as the protagonist of anything is iffy, unless one is a 16 year old Japanese girl and in which case, it may be awesome.

I don't really care what it's on, but if MGS4 was PS3 exclusive then MGSR should be too.

I don't like MGS4 Raiden, it's already ruined for me. Plus it's not even Tactical Espionage Action anymore. FAIL! I hope there's still stealth in this.

for all the random why does raiden have different coloured eyes ya ever think it could be because that particular game is telling raiden's story of how he went too save sunny? that's maybe why his eyes are her colour think of it as some sort of reference it doesn't actually mean he's wearing contacts or anything, as for this new mgs i'm looking forward too it we've had the snake saga end i wanna see some new life brought into the world of metal gear.

i think the new mgs game looks pretty cool even though ive only seen a pic of Raiden. i think MGS4 made Raiden better cause he was just a whiny bitch in MGS2 then MGS4 came along and made him the 3rd cyborg ninja which is better than his whiny bitch ass in MGS2

I liked Raiden a lot better in MGS2 cause he still had a character then, I'm MGS4 he was completely different and i didn't like him.

Besides he was whiny in MGS2 because he was new, he was only a rookie, i liked that.
