I haven't played World at War, but this is a bit less polished than L4D, but it makes it that much better imo. The game is amazingly fun, but it feels like it might hit a point where things get boring. One of the big flaws in the game is the boss imo. Its the same one on every level. I give it a couple weeks before I lose interest.

Thats the group right there, just join in
Basically, the game sets a maximum of six players against 4 hordes of monsters. Every time, the creatures increase in both numbers and lethality. Theres a group of enemies that look like Chimera, so we call those that. We usually use Skype when playing, so feel free to add me - Dot50Cal on skype. It works out better that way for us, since the sound quality is better, and you can constantly talk to one another.
After the fourth wave, the fifth is a boss character. We call him Walter, since he looks kinda like Walter Sullivan from Silent Hill 4 .
The game was originally a mod for Unreal Tournament 2, which was then bought by the guys who made Red Orchestra. Apparently, they thought the team did such a good job, they just released what the mod team had done for the revised version instead of re-creating it. So thats why you might see some unpolished stuff. But trust me, its a total blast.
I'll see if I can make a video of us playing with the skype voice over soonLast edited by Dot50Cal; 09-12-2009, 11:30 AM.

the original version from what i was told also had an entire single player mode with a storyline although I ain't actually got it to work yet, i was working on a resident evil mod for it months ago but that kinda fell through so I dunno if it will be resurrected again but i'm thinking of incoperating some custom content i'm gonna make myself.
